Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Foundation
The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Foundation is a non-profit corporation established in April 2000.
This foundation is a tax-exempt foundation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and a public charity supporting foundation under Section 509(a)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
As a charitable supporting organization, this foundation is operated in connection with The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine. As
such, the medical school is represented in the management of the Foundation and a majority of all financial distributions must be used to support programs at the medical school.
The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Foundation is limited to making financial contributions only to nonprofit organizations that have been listed with the Internal Revenue Service
